[Debut Trailer] Mississippi Grind Starring Ryan Reynolds, Alfre Woodard, Sienna Miller

In this lively, freewheeling road movie, Emmy Award nominee Ben Mendelsohn plays Gerry, a talented but down-on-his-luck gambler whose fortunes begins to change when he meets Curtis (Ryan Reynolds), a younger, highly charismatic poker player.  The two strike up an immediate friendship and Gerry quickly persuades his new friend to accompany him on a road trip to a legendary high stakes poker game in New Orleans. As they make their way down the Mississippi River, Gerry and Curtis manage to find themselves in just about every bar, racetrack, casino, and pool hall they can find, experiencing both incredible highs and dispiriting lows, but ultimately forging a deep and genuine bond that will stay with them long after their adventure is over.

First Look At Jesse Eisenberg As Lex Luthor, Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice

The mark of a good villain is how he knows to stop monologuing before he gives away too much of his plan. That’s also the mark of a good superhero-franchise director. Details on Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (due March 25, 2016) have been scarcer than kryptonite. We know that a cameo by Aquaman sets up 2017’s Justice League and that Wonder Woman has a sizable role. And now we have our first glimpse of Jesse Eisenberg as one of comics’ greatest bad guys: Lex Luthor.

“He’s not any of the Lexes that you’ve seen, that’s for sure,” says Snyder, “other than him being a captain of industry and one person to the world and another person to himself. And bald, of course.”

Eisenberg might not be the first person you’d think of to play the supervillain, but he did have experience portraying a morally challenged billionaire in The Social Network.

‘The Good Wife’ is Saying Goodbye to Kalinda (Archie Panjabi)

panjabi

This is just too much for me already!!!!

First I had to deal with the loss of Will Gardner – wait, I’m lying.  I am STILL dealing with his loss.  Great now I’m about to cry and get mad all over again. I really wanted that steamy affair to go on between him and Alicia.  And no, I don’t care if it was right or not.  Their relationship was H-O-T!

Now, I have to deal with saying goodbye to Kalinda?  Well, I suppose knowing ahead of time helps ease the pain.  Unlike the jaw dropping, WTF moment I had when Will died.

Variety reported that Panjabi is in the works of headlining a new drama pilot for Twentieth Century Fox.

So a huge congratulations to Panjabi and a sad goodbye to Kalinda.
